A committee has been formed to ensure a smooth transition for President-designee Samuel L. Stanley Jr. as he joins the Spartan community on August 1, 2019. The committee is made up of members from the Presidential Search Committee, as well as other campus leaders. COGS President Meagan Abel will serve on this committee.
Samuel L. Stanley Jr., MD has been chosen to lead MSU as it’s 21st president. We’d like to thank COGS Representative Greg Spray, Ph.D. for his work on the search committee. The 2019-2020 COG Executive Board was elected at the March 13, 2019 full council meeting.
COGS and MSU’s Prevention, Outreach, and Education (POE) Department teamed up on April 5th to bring graduate students this dynamic workshop during It’s On Us Week of Action. In this session, we discussed how you can be a supportive person to an individual who is a survivor of sexual assault or relationship violence. We also examined ways that you can be supportive as a friend, as a colleague, and as a mandatory reporter (for those of you that are required). We are grateful to all who joined us for this crucial conversation!
