COGS Craft & Connection: Sewing Workshop

Date: Wednesday, March 18
Time: 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Location: MSU Main Library, 2-West  Hollander Makerspace

COGS is teaming up with Hollander Makerspace in the MSU Main Library again for another fun workshop! This time we’ll learn basic sewing machine/sewing techniques as we create our own totebags. All equipment and materials will be provided. Any level of experience (or none) is welcome!  Light sandwich lunch provided.

Limited space – must register in advance.  (After the first 18, respondents will be added to a waiting list)

Join us for Coffee & Connection Spring 2026! 

Network with your peers across disciplines! Come hang out with COGS and enjoy some morning treats! We hold this event approx twice monthly and alternate between various locations on campus and off campus. That way you can check out different spaces in your campus community. We hope to see you!

Come on out and play! All experience levels welcome. We’ll even teach you if you’ve never played the game of Euchre. Just come have some fun and friendly competition with your grad & professional student peers across disciplines! Pizza and snacks provided. RSVP suggested for planning purposes.

Graduate Resource Workshop Series 2026

The COGS Graduate Resource Series is a virtual workshop series presented by the Graduate Welfare Committee. Each session connects graduate & professional students with vital campus resources through informal, expert discussions, and provides impactful insights, interactive Q&A opportunities, and practical guidance for student success and well-being.
