Go to your outlook app ⇒ go to calendar (in mobile app, it’s at the bottom pane)
⇒ Select “Add Calendar”/“Add Shared Calendars” (in mobile app, click on calendar icon on the top left, then click the +)
⇒ Enter the email “doe@cogs.msu.edu” (make sure you are using your MSU account) and press enter.

Join us for Coffee & Connection: Fall 2025!
Network with your peers across disciplines! Come hang out with COGS and enjoy some morning treats! We hold this event approx twice monthly and alternate between various locations on campus and off campus. That way you can check out different spaces in your campus community. We hope to see you!

Night Under The Stars with COGS: Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at 7 PM
COGS invites you to experience Abrams Planetarium with us on November 6th for our popular Night Under The Stars with COGS! Discover the wonders of Abrams Planetarium, located in the center of MSU’s campus, with a special FREE show just for MSU graduate and professional students and their accompanied guests. The planetarium hosts a wide range of public programming throughout the year for all ages. This is your chance to check it out! Show lasts approximately 30 minutes and is followed by a 30 minute live presentation of the current evening sky.
Featured show: Dark Matter Mystery. What keeps Galaxies together? What are the building blocks of the Universe? What makes the Universe look the way it looks today? Researchers all around the world try to answer these questions. You will see why we know that Dark Matter exists, and how this search is one of the most challenging and exciting searches science has to offer.
Event is free of charge. No pre-registration needed, but in the event that (140) capacity is reached, attendance is first-come, first-served. Event is reserved for MSU graduate & professional students and their accompanied guests.

Join us for a unique crafting event at the MSU Main Library! Create your own unique ornament/keytag with your grad & professional student peers while learning about 3D design, printing & laser cutting technology available at MSU Library. As a bonus – staff at Hollander Makerspace will teach you to use their resources which could also be useful tools for your research activities. No experience necessary!
