What does the career landscape look like for acade mic research careers in your discipline? Predicting the future is impossib le, of course, but data collected by Academic Analytics help to answer s ome questions about the academic research system. This information can inf orm the ways graduate students, post docs, and faculty set goals for the mselves and consider their career paths.
In these sessions, Molly Wi lson, Ph.D., a product development specialist with Academic Analytics wi ll answer questions like these:
What do academic departments look lik e in your discipline? What’s the typical timeline to promotion and tenure? What do publication patterns look like in your discipline? What does fede ral grant funding look like in your discipline? Where do faculty members w ork in your discipline? How often do they move?
