Employers are looki ng to hire people with tangible and transferable leadership experience. Th e Leadership Academy professional development series will help you underst and and develop who you are as a leader, show you different leadership pe rspectives, and give you exposure to leadership in practice. These regula r workshops help participants engage with advanced leadership concepts thr ough discussions with leaders on and off campus. These workshops will be a deep dive into social change and action-oriented leadership with sessions utilizing multiple leadership frameworks, including the Social Change Mo del of Leadership, Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, Kolb’s experienti al learning cycle and the T-shaped Professional model. Each session will d iver more deeply into an aspect of leadership development and skill-buildi ng from these models. Note: This series is open to all graduate students, professional students, and postdocs. You do not have to be a member of t he 2020 Leadership Academy Cohort to attend.
