Reporting violations of university guidance around COVID-19 measures
If you observe a violation of university guidance around COVID-19 measures (such as having too many students in the lab at the same time), please talk to your PI/Supervisor or graduate program director. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, there are options available for reporting.
- MSU’s Misconduct Hotline, 800-763-0764 or misconduct.msu.edu
MSU has implemented a telephone and web reporting Hotline to help maintain adherence to ethical practices. The purpose of the Hotline is to provide an anonymous method to report known or suspected misconduct. - Office of the University Ombudsperson, 517-353-8830, ombud@msu.edu, https://ombud.msu.edu/
This office offers a space to collect concerns confidentially and address it from a systemic perspective where possible and a touchpoint for individuals to reconnect with later on as well if retaliation becomes a concern. - The Graduate School, 517-353-3220, gradschool@grd.msu.edu, https://grad.msu.edu/
We provide a listening ear and advice to foster students’ growth and well-being throughout their education.
