Employers are looking to hire people with tangible and transfer able leadership experience. The Leadership Academy professional developmen t series will help you understand and develop who you are as a leader, sh ow you different leadership perspectives, and give you exposure to leader ship in practice. These regular workshops help participants engage with ad vanced leadership concepts through discussions with leaders on and off cam pus. These workshops will be a deep dive into social change and action-ori ented leadership with sessions utilizing multiple leadership frameworks, including the Social Change Model of Leadership, Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, Kolb’s experiential learning cycle and the T-shaped Professio nal model. Each session will diver more deeply into an aspect of leadershi p development and skill-building from these models. Note: This series is o pen to all graduate students, professional students, and postdocs. You d o not have to be a member of the 2020 Leadership Academy Cohort to attend.
