Have you thoug ht about starting your own business as a graduate student? In this introdu ction session Dr. Jasmine Abrams will provide an overview of different typ es of academic entrepreneurship and offer a few tips on how to get started . Dr. Abrams is an international behavioral research scientist and faculty member at the Boston University School of Public Health and Yale Universi ty School of Public Health. In addition to her academic endeavors, Dr. Ab rams is a serial entrepreneur who has founded four companies in the last 5 years. Her experience in entrepreneurship has largely informed her approa ch to coaching early career faculty in academia.
