Please come to this session prepared with questions, identify your needs so you can set goals to support you in completing your work, and provide resources and feedback.

The event will open with an address from Dean Pero Dagbovie. Registration is required.

    As exams are approaching, GTAs and instructors in their various roles are navigating ways of grading effectively and providing valuable feedback to students on their learning. In this session, we will share grading practices, identify challenges, and find solutions for effective grading. We will also provide strategies to provide meaningful feedback to students and communicate with them about it.

  • Fall 2023 TA Tuition Pool Closes

    The Graduate Employees Union and Michigan State University agreed to add 500 additional tuition credits to the tuition waiver benefit for teaching assistants. This additional benefit will be in place for 2019-2023. The Fall tuition pool is available to students appointed as teaching assistants in Fall 2023. Applications are due June 16, 2023 by 5 pm.
