What does the career landscape look like for ac ademic research careers in your discipline? Predicting the future is impos sible, of course, but data collected by Academic Analytics help to answe r some questions about the academic research system. This information can inform the ways graduate students, post docs, and faculty set goals for themselves and consider their career paths.
In these sessions, Molly Wilson, Ph.D., a product development specialist with Academic Analytics will answer questions like these:
What do academic departments look like in your discipline? What’s the typical timeline to promotion and tenu re? What do publication patterns look like in your discipline? What does f ederal grant funding look like in your discipline? Where do faculty member s work in your discipline? How often do they move?
Moderated by Kyle Sweitzer, Ph.D., Data Resource Analyst in MSU’s Office of Planning & Bud gets.
