Self-Care and Wellness Program “Restore Your Roots” Incorporates Therapy Dogs into Events
“Restore Your Roots: An Immersive Beal Experience” – This series focuses on wellbeing and self-care, which is especially important this time of year. Take a break and enjoy:
- An immersive Beal Botanical Garden experience, with video and sounds from when the garden was green, the sky was blue, and the sun was shining bright. If you’d like, bring a blanket or towel to sit on.
- THERAPY DOGS!
- Mindful activities like make your own tea blend, paint a clay pot, grow herbs, etc. (activities will rotate per session).
- Representatives from CAPS and Health4U.
RESTORE YOUR ROOTS will be take place in McDonel Hall in Room 42 and the center lounge (in the basement level) and will be offered on four dates:
- Thursday, Feb 1 – 12:00-1:00pm
- Wednesday, Feb 7 – 5:30-6:30pm
- Thursday, Feb 15 – 12:00-1:00pm
- Wednesday, Feb 21 – 5:30-6:30pm
