RCPD Community Groups are an opportunity for students with disabilities to connect virtually and discuss topics relevant to your experiences. Conversations may include navigating your disability, online learning, dealing with challenging family/relationship situations, social isolation, and other topics that YOU want to address. These groups will run from January through April and foster community building, cooperation, and peer support. There are multiple dates available for Community Group participation to best fit your schedule, and there are separate groups for undergraduate and graduate students so you can connect with on similar academic journeys. The groups will be facilitated by RCPD specialists with co-facilitation from MSU student peers.
Sign up for Community Groups at: https://tinyurl.com/y23zt9u9 by Friday, January 22nd.
Students must be registered with the RCPD to participate. If you have a disability that substantially limits a major life activity, you can register with the RCPD and you may be eligible to receive accommodations. Get started at the RCPD website: https://www.rcpd.msu.edu/.
