We are excited to announce the third annual Communicating Science Conference for Graduate Students (ComSciCon) in the Michigan region, which will take place via Zoom from August 22nd-23rd, 2020!
The ComSciCon workshop series is designed to empower graduate students to communicate the complex and technical concepts that arise in research in science, engineering and other technical fields to broad and diverse audiences, beyond fellow practitioners in the field.
We have an exciting program of events planned. Attendees will network with fellow graduate student leaders in science communication, produce original writing for publication, and learn from expert writers and communicators.
ComSciCon-MI 2020 will be held over two full days on August 22nd-23rd, 2020. Applications are open NOW and the application period will close at 11:59pm EDT on June 26th, 2020. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the conference will now be held online via Zoom! There will be no registration fee (only a refundable deposit) for attendees, but only a limited number of spots are available. Attendees will be selected through a competitive application process. The application consists of only a few short answer questions, outlined at https://comscicon.com/comscicon-michigan-2020-application.
