I am a PhD student in Biosystems Engineering and Food Science. My research interests are within mathematical modeling and parameter estimation as they apply to process validation and microbial inactivation in foods. My current research involves relating heat and mass transfer kinetics to microbial inactivation kinetics, quantifying process variability, and translating these results into a public health impact. When I am not in the lab, I enjoy brewing beer, golfing, playing ice hockey, watching sports and spending time with my dog.
I am a graduate student in my first year of Construction Management program. I dream to play with construction of structures and manage difficult projects successfully in long run. I love to meet new people, exchange thoughts, make friends and learn different cultures in the process. I find peace in singing, reading and travelling. I love to pen in my thoughts daily and that diary is like my best friend. My husband is also a student at MSU and we enjoy cooking together on weekends.
